Job summary

Aramark Ireland is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team in Athenry. The successful candidate will support our catering services across our restaurant, assisting with tills, food service, and customer care.

This permanent role runs 5 days a week, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic hospitality team. We seek friendly, motivated individuals with experience in fast-paced catering, strong time management, and a commitment to food safety and HACCP policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business.
• Strong hospitality or catering background is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be willing to work on tills, coffee stations, food service counters or floor as required.
• Ensure food preparation and service meet HACCP/Food Hygiene policies.
• Multi-task and stay organized with attention to detail.
• Operate tills in line with policy.
• Assist with deliveries and stock handling.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages; maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow FIFO stock rotation and document storage procedures.
• Adhere to dress code and PPE, maintain personal hygiene.
• Follow safety policies and report injuries; handle equipment properly.
• Comply with Aramark & client policies and confidentiality.
• Participate in training and development; undertake other duties as needed.
