Job summary

O'Flynn's Gourmet Sausage Company in Cork, Ireland, seeks a Catering & Events Manager to lead our Corporate, Events & Festivals catering operation. This role suits a head chef or senior chef seeking leadership with ownership and a balanced weekday schedule, with flexibility for weekends during festival periods.

You will plan menus, manage budgets, train a small catering team, and ensure HACCP compliance across all events, while building strong client relationships and collaborating with Sales &

Qualifications

• HACCP and food safety knowledge is essential.
• Excellent organisational skills for calendar, team, procurement and client management.
• Strong leadership and team-building capability.
• Commercial awareness including food cost, margins and revenue targets.
• Full Irish Driving Licence; van driving experience preferred.
• English proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the CEF events calendar — bookings, scheduling, and revenue forecasting.
• Develop and refine menus centred on the product range.
• Manage food costs, procurement, and event budgets.
• Lead, train, and inspire a small catering team to high standards.
• Own food safety and HACCP compliance across all events activity.
• Build and maintain client relationships — corporate accounts, festival organisers, venues.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to grow events and festivals.
• Represent the brand, culture and values at every event.
• Coordinate with Production and Operations teams.
