SignaCare Killerig in Ireland is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at the Killerig facility near Carlow. The role involves food prep, serving residents, maintaining hygiene, and supporting service with a professional, resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience in a nursing home or similar setting is an advantage.
• Strong customer service skills with awareness and sensitivity to residents.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• HACCP training would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation tasks.
• Hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas.
• Food serving and basic cleaning tasks.
• Organise food preparation areas and adhere to food safety procedures.
• Ensure facilities are replenished and tidy throughout service.
• Support service to residents in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow HACCP standards and complete daily records.
