SignaCare Killerig is hiring a Healthcare Assistant to provide compassionate support to elderly residents in a premium home between Carlow and Tullow. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, meals, and mobility assistance, with a team that emphasises a supportive family ethos.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in elder care, QQI Level 5 in healthcare or related degree, Garda clearance, and fluent English. EU/EEA citizens or those with right to work in Ireland are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in elder care.
• QQI Level 5 in healthcare or Nursing/Allied Health Degree (or in progress).
• Garda Clearance required.
• Good character references and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal care to elderly residents.
• Assist with meals and mobility as needed.
• Support residents to maintain independence and dignity.
