Job summary

Dawn Farms in Naas, Co. Kildare, is looking for a Catering Assistant. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) runs Monday to Friday daytime shifts. You will help with food preparation, serve customers and maintain high hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will follow HACCP procedures, complete daily records, and work as part of a team dedicated to safe, high-quality production. English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HACCP/Food Safety level 2 desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of food safety and food safety controls measures.
• Prior experience working within a customer service focused industry.
• Good level of English both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas.
• Food serving and basic cleaning tasks.
• Assist with food preparation from start to finish.
• Organise food preparation areas and adhere to all food safety procedures.
• Ensure counters are replenished and tidy as you go throughout service.
• Serve customers in a timely fashion.
• Be prepared to carry out any additional duties outside of general duties.
• To follow the agreed HACCP standards and procedures
• Completion of daily records (cleaning/food safety)
• Be approachable as well as a customer service oriented
• Have the ability to multitask in a fast face working environment.
