Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager in Carrier Management to lead commercial sourcing and negotiations for third-party network access services supporting Verizon’s operations. Provide sound commercial judgment, analytics, and cross-functional leadership to deliver cost-effective, reliable services.

You will drive opportunity assessment, market engagement, and negotiations, coordinating with technical, finance, legal, and business teams to reach clear, actionable decisions in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing methods and best practices.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to assess pricing, compare options and explain commercial trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Leading negotiations with network operators on pricing, contract terms, renewals, and amendments.
• Identifying and delivering savings opportunities across third-party network access spend.
• Running competitive bids, including developing sourcing approaches, evaluating proposals, and documenting recommendations.
• Analyzing pricing, demand, contract terms, and service requirements to build practical commercial options and business cases.
• Managing a portfolio of sourcing initiatives, tracking actions, decisions, risks, approvals, and expected benefits through to completion.
• Building effective working relationships with network operators and internal partners to resolve commercial issues
