Job description

The Moriarty Group is an Irish owned company involved in both the retail grocery and hotel industries. The company owns three large Super Valu Stores in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and two 4* hotels, the Courtyard Hotel in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, and the Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The company currently employs 550 staff.

The Moriarty Group of Super Valu's are three of the largest Super Valu stores in the Dublin area. We are currently seeking to recruit a Car‑Park Attendant for our Skerries store.

The Role

This is a part-time position working approximately 32 hours per week over 7 days including weekends and public holidays.

Main Duties

• Provide service excellence to our customers at all times.
• Overall upkeep of the carparks, ensuring that they are maintained in good order.
• Ensure that the carpark is being used by customers of the store only.
• Replenish trolley bays.
• Assist in other areas of the store if required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but is not essential, as full training can be given.
• Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
• Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
• Must be able to multi‑task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the store.
• Must have excellent customer care skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Must be available for mid‑week day shifts, early starts, late finishes and weekends.
