Job summary

Swissport in Ireland is hiring a Cargo Warehouse Agent for the night shift on a full-time basis. Base pay is €16.99 per hour with a night shift allowance.

• Following Dangerous Goods Regulations and airline requirements.
• Delivering air cargo to appropriate recipients.
• Providing special handling of live animals as required.
• Driving and/or operating specialist equipment as needed.
• Reporting equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

As a Cargo Warehouse Agent, you will:

• Organize warehouse and storage facilities.
• Arrange warehouse handling equipment and load/unload air cargo.
• Maintain the required safety and quality standards.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.

• Delivering air cargo to appropriate recipient if required
• Providingspecial handling of live animals as required
• Drivingand/or operate specialist equipment which may include vans, fork lift trucks, cargo dollies/trailers.
• Reporting all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager
• Complying with all relevant legislation and airport authority and carrier security requirements
• Complying with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and security at all times
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required

• Able to work in a manual environment and repeatedly lift up to 32kg throughout a shift
• Able to work as a team in a fast paced environment
• A full driving licence
• Previous experience working in an aviation environment desirable
