Cargo Warehouse Operative (Fixed Term) – 37.5 hours per week shift work.

Based in Dublin Airport, you will handle a wide variety of cargo including life-saving medical products and pharmaceuticals, and be trained in a career with opportunities to grow within the wider IAG Cargo operations.

Your role
- A variety of shifts over a 24/7 timeframe
- Maintaining quality customer service by following organisational standards
- Projecting a professional, courteous and friendly image to customers (internal and external) and responding to queries in a timely and effective manner
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks
- Providing customer feedback to Line Management
- Preparing cargo shipments for onward flights and receiving inbound cargo from global origins
- Ensuring cargo preparation tasks are handled in a timely and accurate manner
- Completing Health and Safety, Security and operational training as required
- Ensuring proper Health and Safety, Security and operational practices and procedures are adhered to
Qualifications & key criteria
- A full clean EU Driving Licence is required
- Comfortable working with IT applications with basic keyboard skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present facts clearly and objectively
- High energy and enthusiasm with the ability to learn new skills quickly
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work on own initiative while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Eligible to live and work in the EU
- Provide 2 verifiable references
- Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure (includes a 5 year background check) or possess a current airside pass for Dublin Airport

Salary: €16.66 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)
