Job summary

Sodexo at Kildare Town Community School is hiring a full-time Caretaker. You’ll work 39 hours weekly, 9:00–17:00, at €15.59 per hour, with career development opportunities and Sodexo benefits. Join a team focused on a welcoming, safe environment for students and staff, handling daily cleaning tasks, lobby upkeep, and safety procedures, while coordinating with colleagues as needed.

Experience is not essential—training is provided. Applicants must undergo the standard safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Able to work solo or in a team.
• Flexible and reliable.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Brighten the building's lobby spaces and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks as part of the shift.
• Assist with incoming tasks and provide a speedy, spotless service.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to keep students and staff safe.

What you'll do:

• Brighten the building's lobby spaces
• Help our teams maintain a welcoming environment, completing your list of daily cleaning tasks
• Support with incoming tasks, providing a speedy and spotless service
• Help us keep our teams and students safe through safety and sanitation procedures

What you'll bring:

• Cleaning experience is great, but not essential—we’ll show you the ropes!
• You’re happy working solo or teaming up with others
