Job summary

Platinum Homecare seeks a Care Manager to lead a team of Carers in your assigned area. You will be supported by the Platinum Support Centre to deliver high-quality care to vulnerable clients.

Responsibilities include onboarding and rostering, induction training, safeguarding and compliance, and close coordination with the Support Office to ensure client care excellence.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 Supervisory Management or higher.
• 3-5 years in Home Care or Community Care in a Supervisory or Management role.
• Experience with One Touch Care Management software is preferable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well organised and process driven.

Responsibilities

• Oversee carer onboarding, rosters, training and welfare with support from Regional Manager and Platinum Support Office.
• Deliver 20-hour Carer Induction Training for new carers in your area.
• Monitor daily activities using One Touch Care Management with emphasis on safeguarding and compliance.
• Communicate scheduling, client care and HSE updates with the Support Office.
• Identify and manage training needs, creating a career development path with HR strategy.
• Ensure Client Quality Assurance reviews are conducted and recorded to standards.

We require an exceptionalCareManagerwho will assist in growing and managing a team of motivated, compassionate Carers in your assigned area. You will be fully supported by our Platinum Support Centre.

As the successful candidate, you will be highly motivated to oversee and assist in providing high quality care to vulnerable people.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure efficient and effective management of carer on-boarding, carer rosters, carer training/development and overall carer welfare with the support of your Regional Manager and Platinum Support Office.
• Confidently deliver Platinum 20-hour Carer Induction Training ensuring Carers are sufficiently prepared and trained in advance of providing care to all clients in your assigned area.
• Using One Touch Care Management software, monitor all daily activities with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and compliance at every level. Take any action required under your remit and elevate as needed.
• Using One Touch Care Management Software, communicate closely with the Support Office regarding Scheduling runs, Client Care and HSE communication.
• Take responsibility for identifying, monitoring and managing training needs within your team, by implementing a career development path in line with the Platinum Homecare HR strategy.
• Ensure Client Quality Assurance reviews are carried out and recorded in line with Platinum Homecare and HSE Standards.
• Flexibility to take responsibility for all reasonable duties that support the provision of the highest level of care by Platinum Homecare.

Requirements
