Job summary

Mowlam Healthcare is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join Rush Nursing Home in Rush, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

You will assist in the preparation and service of meals and beverages for residents, visitors and staff, help prepare resident trays, and ensure equipment and utensils are available in the right quantities. You will also participate in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, hygienic and well organized.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or catering environments.
• Clear communication with residents, visitors and staff.
• Reliable and punctual with schedule adherence.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and service of meals and beverages.
• Prepare resident trays and dining areas with necessary equipment.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic.
• Follow hygiene standards and cook/serve to required quality.
• Carry out duties as directed by Catering Manager/Cook.
