Job summary

Bluebird Care Dublin Northeast is hiring Healthcare Assistants to join our home care team across D3, D5, D17 and D13. We offer permanent contracts, full-time preferred, and no visa sponsorship.

Travel between client homes is required, with comprehensive training provided and ongoing support from our Care Management Team. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal support, companionship, medication prompts, and maintaining care records.

Qualifications

• Very good spoken and written English is essential.
• Full Irish driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
• Legal right to work in Ireland (no visa sponsorship)
• Available to work at least every second weekend

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Supporting with mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals and supporting with feeding if needed
• Giving companionship and emotional support
• Medication prompts and light household duties
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Promoting independence and dignity
• Driving to and from clients' homes throughout your shift
