Job summary

Bluebird Care Dublin North is seeking caring Healthcare Assistants to support clients in their own homes across D7, D11, D9 & D1 including Cabra, Drumcondra, Phibsborough, Glasnevin, Finglas, Ballymun and Santry.

We offer part-time and full-time contracts; you must have the right to work in Ireland and be flexible for weekends. Training provided and a supportive team with high standards of home care.

Qualifications

• Good spoken and written English is essential.
• Previous work experience in Ireland is essential.
• Flexibility to work every second weekend; evenings and weekends preferred.
• 2 QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills, Healthcare Support or Care of the Older Person.
• Or 1+ year HCA experience with willingness to complete the modules.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care in their own homes.
• Support mobility and transfers for clients.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Support with medication prompts/reminders.
• Carry out light household duties and maintain dignity.
• Report health changes to office promptly; record visit notes.
