This developmental opportunity requires no prior experience; full accredited training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop valuable skills and progress in your career. You will work alongside a friendly team to create a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; accredited training provided.
• Garda vetting may be required.
• Eligibility may depend on age and welfare status as indicated in the advert.

Responsabilités

• Providing friendly support and companionship to older people
• Assisting clients with their day-to-day needs and ensuring they feel comfortable and valued
• Preparing and serving meals and assisting clients at mealtimes
• Supporting clients with toileting and personal care needs, where required
• Helping to organise and participate in activities, social events and daily programmes
• Encouraging clients to participate and enjoy their time at the centre
• Keeping the centre clean, tidy and welcoming
• Carrying out general household duties
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
