Job summary

Westcare Homecare Ltd is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for Drogheda to support clients in their homes. You will help with daily tasks, assist with mobility, and provide companionship while promoting wellbeing and safety in a home setting. Flexible hours and a valued role in a caring team await.

Ideal candidates have a full driving licence and access to a car, QQI Level 5 or equivalent, and a positive, reliable attitude. Experience in care is beneficial but not required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full Irish driving licence and access to a car.
• QQI Level 5 or equivalent of QQI.
• A caring, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Experience in care is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily tasks (washing, dressing, meals).
• Support mobility and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
• Help create a safe, comfortable home environment.
