Ability West seeks Care Assistants to join an individualised service in Ballinfoyle Galway. You will support people with intellectual disabilities, help with daily living, and work as part of a dedicated team in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Personal care experience or willingness to perform personal care tasks.
• Competencies to work with persons with intellectual disability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support wellbeing of people in care and facilitate interpersonal relationships.
• Provide personal care and help with day-to-day activities.
• Assist with housekeeping, meals, and community integration.
• Drive Ability West vehicles or use own transport as required.
• Maintain records and reports for service management.
• Support staff and communicate with families and visitors.
