Job summary

HSE is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist for a full-time contract based in Louth. The role involves rotating between the main Cardiac Department and the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, delivering high-quality patient care in a busy environment.

The successful candidate will hold a BSc in Clinical Measurement Science (or equivalent) and an MPQM/MPPM certificate, with desirable experience in Echocardiography or Cath Lab procedures and IICMP registration for non-Irish qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Measurement Science or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) or equivalent.
• Previous experience at a similar level is desirable.
• Technical proficiency in adult Trans-thoracic Echocardiography and Cath Lab procedures is advantageous.
• BSE Accreditation desirable.
• Excellent communication/inter-personal skills and a high capacity for responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between the main Cardiac Department and the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab.
• Communicate effectively in a busy Cardiac Department.
• Contribute to patient care in a high-demand environment.

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment in partnership with our client are recruting a Cardiac Physiologist on a full time contract basis.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and enjoy the challenges of working in a busy Cardiac Department rotating between the main department and the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab and possess the following skills at a minimum

• Possess the BSc. in Clinical Measurement Science, Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) or hold an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience at a similar level desirable
• Technical proficiency in both adult Trans-thoracic Echocardiography and/or Cath Lab procedures would be an advantage
• BSE Accreditation desirable
• Excellent communication/inter-personal skills and a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative
