HSE in Louth is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to rotate between the main department and the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc in Clinical Measurement Science or equivalent, with training in echocardiography and Cath Lab procedures, and be IICMP registered where applicable.

This full-time contract offers a competitive salary and opportunities to work in a busy, dynamic Cardiac Department.

Qualifications

• MPPM certificate or equivalent qualification.
• IICMP registration if qualified outside Ireland.
• Experience in cardiac imaging is desirable.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and enjoy the challenges of working in a busy Cardiac Department rotating between the main department and the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab and possess the following skills at a minimum

• Possess the BSc. in Clinical Measurement Science, Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) or hold an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience at a similar level desirable
• Technical proficiency in both adult Trans-thoracic Echocardiography and/or Cath Lab procedures would be an advantage
• BSE Accreditation desirable
• Excellent communication/inter-personal skills and a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative
