There's a lot happening behind the scenes to make sure renewable and flexible generation assets can successfully participate in Capacity Market and system services – and that's where this role comes in. Working within our wider Portfolio Optimisation team, you'll take responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day activities that keep our assets qualified, compliant and ready to participate across Capacity Market and system services schemes in Great Britain and Ireland. Supporting more than 2GW of renewable and flexible generation assets, you'll work with colleagues across development, operations, finance, commercial and regulatory teams to make sure applications, qualification activity, contractual requirements and ongoing obligations are delivered accurately and on time. This isn't primarily a trading or portfolio optimisation role. It's about understanding market requirements, getting the detail right, bringing the right people together and making sure we deliver on our commitments. It's a great opportunity for someone who already has some exposure to electricity markets, regulation, energy operations or commercial processes and is ready to build their experience in a broad role within renewable energy.
You don't need to be a portfolio optimisation specialist, and you don't need to have done this exact role before.
