Job summary

Scent Restaurant at 1st Floor, 20 Landscape Road, Churchtown, Dublin 14 is looking for a Chef de Partie in Cantonese Chinese Food. Asian food qualification is required and you should have at least 2 years of experience in Asian cuisine. This permanent role offers an annual salary of €37,000 and a 38-hour week.

You will play a key role in day-to-day kitchen operations, collaborating with the head chef to prepare menus, manage supplies, and ensure meal preparation and plating meet standards.

Qualifications

• Asian food qualification (Cantonese focus) required.
• At least 2 years experience in Asian food.

Responsibilities

• Work with Head Chef to prepare menus, including specials.
• Order, prepare and stock ingredients for all cooking stations.
• Follow Head Chef guidance in preparation and presentation of meals.
• Enforce health codes and cleanliness standards in kitchen and storage areas.
• Train and supervise junior chefs in best practices, safety and hygiene.
