Job summary

UNSW invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow (Level A) to contribute to high-quality cancer survivorship research within ARCCS. The role emphasizes data collection, analysis, and translation of findings to improve outcomes for survivors.

Working with multidisciplinary teams, you will engage with stakeholders, support grant development, governance, and project coordination, while supervising students where appropriate.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline or substantial relevant work experience.
• Commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct high quality academic research with limited supervision.
• Proven track record of publications and conference presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and build relationships.
• Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and students.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ARCCS research program on cancer survivorship, including work participation, costs, access to care, and policy implications.
• Design, deliver, analyze and translate research findings to improve outcomes for survivors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary researchers, cancer survivors, employers, clinicians and policymakers.
• Engage in stakeholder engagement, grant development, governance and project coordination.
• Supervise students where appropriate and support Centre priorities.
• Present research findings through publications and dissemination activities.
