Job summary

Medforce is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a CAMHS team in Mullingar. The role focuses on assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with ADHD and/or MHID, delivering evidence-based approaches and family-inclusive care.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Occupational Therapy.
• CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience as an OT with paediatric/CAMHS setting (1+ year).
• Experience with ADHD and/or MHID beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments tailored to ADHD and MHID.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to improve daily functioning and emotional regulation.
• Provide psychoeducation and skills training to service users and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in CAMHS.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or students as required.
• Engage in case reviews and care planning for cohesive service delivery.
