Job summary

Ability West in Galway City and County is hiring a Bus Driver to provide transport for service users, outings and activities. The role requires a full, clean B, D and D1 driving licence and a valid Certificate of Professional Competence. You must be eligible to work in Ireland and ready to cover shifts at short notice.

The position is permanent, on-site with 39 hours per week. Hourly pay ranges from €14.85 to €18.39, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Full, clean B, D and D1 driving licence.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) must be evidenced.

Responsibilities

• Provide transport cover as needed when permanent drivers are unavailable.
• Transport service users for outings and activities as directed.
• Drive the vehicle safely in compliance with road rules and traffic acts.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and upkeep at all times.
• Demonstrate reliability and flexibility to cover at short notice.
