Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Bus Driver role based in County Waterford. The Bus Driver will safely operate company buses on scheduled routes and services, following all traffic regulations and company policies.

Daily tasks include conducting daily walkarounr checks, monitoring vehicle performance, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

The role involves providing professional, friendly customer service, assisting passengers with boarding and luggage when needed, handling fares or ticket validation, and maintaining a clean, comfortable coach environment.

The Bus Driver will work closely with depot and operations teams to follow assigned schedules, adapt to route changes, and support punctual, reliable services.

Qualifications

• Strong professional driving skills, including experience with bus or coach operation and familiarity with truck driving environments.
• Demonstrated defensive driving skills and a strong safety mindset in all road and weather conditions.
• Background in driver training or willingness to participate in structured training and ongoing skills development.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and support a positive passenger experience.
• Valid appropriate driving license for bus/coach operations and a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of local routes and Irish road regulations, or willingness to learn through company training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with depot and operations teams.
