Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting a Building Services/MEP coordinator for a major Greater Dublin project. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical installations in line with the project programme and liaise with design, site and specialist subcontractors.

The role requires 3–5 years of building services experience, a relevant qualification, and the ability to interpret drawings and BIM models. You will review drawings and submittals, attend MEP coordination meetings and support testing,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in building services or MEP coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and BIM models.
• Good communication, planning and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installations to the project programme.
• Review drawings, specifications and submittals; raise queries and track responses.
• Coordinate information between design, site team and specialist subcontractors.
• Inspect installations for compliance with specifications and submittals.
• Attend MEP coordination meetings and report progress.
• Support testing, commissioning and demonstrations of building services systems.
• Assist with Safety File, handover and BCAR documentation.
• Ensure MEP works comply with health and safety requirements.

What You’ll Need

• A relevant qualification in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• The ability to interpret technical drawings and navigate BIM models.
• Good communication, planning and IT skills.
