Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey is seeking an FM Technician focused on Building Fabric to join our Facilities Management team in Ireland. This role involves delivering planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites and ensuring work aligns with contract scope and safety standards.

You will be expected to coordinate with Helpdesk, manage materials, and maintain accurate records. A multiskilled background and NVQ Level 2 Carpentry are essential, along with a full driving licence and IT skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Carpentry or equivalent required.
• Full driving licence required.
• Able to use Microsoft Office / IT products.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of sites.
• Follow Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Record work details and obtain customer signatures where required.
• Respond promptly to service calls and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Prioritise maintenance tasks to meet response times and coordinate with the manager as needed.
• Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment per procedures.
• Liaise with Helpdesk for third party attendance and provide job specifications.
• Assist with surveys and reports and maintain asset registers.
