Job summary

Roughan & O'Donovan is recruiting a talented Bridge Design Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience for a permanent role in Dublin or Cork. You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing input to various bridge projects while receiving support from senior engineers.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 8 Honours degree and will be proficient in bridge analytical modelling and design software. The role involves preparing technical documents and working independently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in detailed design of bridges.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Working knowledge of Eurocodes in bridge design.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to bridge and multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Participate in project scoping and early design stages.
• Conduct preliminary and detailed design work, including calculations.
• Prepare technical documents and reports.
• Interface with clients and consultants.
