Job summary

Breedon Group in Dublin is launching its three-year Graduate Programme, giving real responsibility, broad business experience and the opportunity to build a long-term career.

You’ll develop technical expertise, commercial understanding and confidence while getting to know how our business works; rotations in Foundation, Move, Stretch with supported development by a Buddy, a Mentor and senior leaders across Breedon.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2:1 or Masters in one of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering; Materials Science; Earth Sciences; Geography; Sustainability; Environmental Science/Engineering; AI/Data Analytics/Science or equivalent
  • Part-time or summer work
  • Placement year or work experience
  • Extra-curricular interests
  • Sport, societies or volunteering
  • Personal projects and achievements

Responsibilities

  • Year 1 – Foundation: Start in a role aligned to your degree and learn how Breedon operates
  • Year 2 – Move: Rotate to broaden experience and take on real projects with greater responsibility
  • Year 3 – Stretch: Move to a more challenging role with increased ownership and impact
  • Structured development, a Buddy, a Mentor and exposure to senior leaders across Breedon

You’ll develop your technical expertise, commercial understanding and confidence while getting to know how our business really works. This is an evolving industry that needs changing skillsets, modern thinking and future focused minds, which is why we need you!

Your three-year journey

Year 1 – Foundation Start in a role aligned to your degree, apply what you’ve learned in a real business environment and build a strong understanding of how Breedon operates.

Year 2 – Build Move into a new rotation, broaden your experience and take on greater responsibility through real projects and challenges.

Year 3 – Stretch Step into a more challenging role with increased ownership, exposure and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Throughout the programme, you’ll have structured development, a Buddy, a Mentor, dedicated programme support and exposure to senior leaders across Breedon.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to get involved, learn quickly and build a career.

To apply, you’ll need to have achieved a Bachelors degree with a minimum of a 2:1 / Masters degree in one of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering; Materials Science; Earth Sciences; Geography; Sustainability; Environmental Science/Engineering; AI/Data Analytics/Science or equivalent
