Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate high‑priority brand and advertising projects across teams, stakeholders and timezones.
  • End‑to‑end program management with timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, all the way to delivery.
  • Support planning and rollout of major brand initiatives, communications planning, leadership approvals and execution.
  • Partner across the brand, creative, media, content and operations teams to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Build and maintain clear plans, status updates, decision logs, meeting cadences, and action trackers.
  • Coordinate input across senior stakeholders, ensuring the right decisions are made at the right time.
  • Help translate strategic direction into practical action plans and next steps.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies and elevate with clear recommendations.
  • Provide continuity across in‑flight programs during the leave period.
  • Manage budgets across programs, including forecasting, tracking spend against plan, purchase orders, and reconciliation with finance.

Job Title: Senior Manager, Brand & Advertising (Maternity Cover)

Contract Length: Initial 6 month contract with view to extension

Morgan McKinley has partnered with a global tech client in supporting with the hiring of a Senior Manager, Brand and Advertising position. This role sits at the centre of global brand and advertising, helping drive cross-functional programs from planning, creative development, and execution while keeping teams aligned, decisions moving, and project elements on track.

This person will work across global priority marketing projects spanning brand launches, creative production, campaign development, rollout planning, internal communications, and operational delivery. They will need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, bringing structure to fast-moving work, and partnering across a matrixed marketing organization.

Key Responsibilties
  • Lead and coordinate high-priority brand and advertising projects across multiple teams, stakeholders and timezones
  • End-to-end program management with responsibility for timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks all the way to delivery
  • Support planning and rollout of major brand initiatives, communications planning, leadership approvals and execution
  • Partner across the brand, creative, media, content and operations teams, and marketing pillar team leads to ensure work is aligned and progressing
  • Build and maintain clear plans, status updates, decision logs, meeting cadences, and action trackers
  • Coordinate input and alignment across senior stakeholders, ensuring the right decisions are made at the right time
  • Help teams translate strategic direction into practical action plans and next steps
  • Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies and elevate with clear recommendations
  • Provide day-to-day continuity across in-flight programs during the leave period
  • Manage budgets across programs, including forecasting, tracking spend against plan, purchase orders, and reconciliation with finance
Experience & skills
  • Strong program or project management experience within brand, advertising, marketing, creative, or communications environments
  • A deep understanding and passion for creative and the creative development process
  • Experience coordinating launches, rollouts, campaigns, or other highly visible marketing initiatives
  • Ability to turn ambiguous or evolving inputs into clear plans
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional marketing projects with multiple stakeholders and moving parts
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting senior leaders and navigating approvals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
  • Confidence facilitating meetings, aligning teams, to keep momentum
  • Experience owning or co-owning marketing budgets and working with finance and procurement
  • Experience in global or multi-market environments is preferred
  • We are a global brand, so you will work with stakeholders in multiple time zones. As such, some international travel on occasion may be needed for production or global office/ partner visits.
