Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment has an exciting Junior BMS Engineer role in the Dublin Region. You will work across Dublin and Leinster on fault finding, diagnostics, maintenance and optimisation of BMS and HVAC systems.

The role focuses on reactive calls, planned maintenance, and supporting upgrades with on-site and remote client support. A qualified electrician or strong electrical background is preferred, with travel across Ireland as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in BMS, Building Controls, HVAC Controls, Electrical Maintenance or Commissioning.
• Experience with BACnet and Modbus communications is preferred/required.
• Qualified Electrician or strong electrical background preferred.
• Experience carrying out PPM, reactive callouts, commissioning or system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive service callouts and diagnose BMS/HVAC faults.
• Fault find across controllers, sensors, actuators, panels and field devices.
• Troubleshoot BACnet, Modbus and network issues.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and health checks.
• Optimise control strategies, alarms, schedules and setpoints.
• Repair/replace/reconfigure components of control systems.
• Support BMS upgrades, modifications and retrofit projects.
• Assist with commissioning and recommissioning activities.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients.
• Complete service reports and maintain documentation.
• Build strong client relationships and provide after-sales support.
