Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced Commissioning Engineer - Post Controls Install to lead on-site commissioning activities, testing, validation, and handover for our building management projects in Ireland. You will work with Project Managers, software engineers, installation teams, consultants and clients to ensure systems operate as designed and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

Experience commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS) on commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial, or data centre projects.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and associated control strategies.
Experience supporting project delivery from commissioning through to client handover.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across BMS systems, controllers, field devices, and associated equipment.
Experience working directly with customers, consultants, and commissioning teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead commissioning activities following completion of BMS controls installation across a range of projects.
Take ownership of testing, validation, and handover activities to ensure systems operate as designed.
Coordinate on-site commissioning activities and act as the key technical contact during the commissioning phase.
Support customer demonstrations, witness testing, training, and project handover activities.
