Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Black Utilities Lead Technician in Blanchardstown to ensure reliable operation and maintenance of all black utility systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role links site management, utilities shift teams, engineering and external vendors to sustain continuous supply and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised trade certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration or HVAC and bring experience in regulated

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems.
• Able to interpret P&IDs and system schematics.
• Leadership and decision-making within a GMP context.

Responsibilities

• Operations: ensure continuous operation of steam, condensate, chilled water, cooling water, compressed air, and HVAC utilities.
• Maintenance: lead reactive maintenance to minimise production impact; support preventive maintenance programs.
• Engineering & Projects: assist commissioning, project activities and lifecycle improvements.
• Compliance: ensure all work aligns with cGMP and site procedures.
• Stakeholder: coordinate with site manager, utilities coordinator, and vendors.
