Bioprocess Vessel Designer

Job summary

ABEC is seeking a Vessel Designer to develop and release pressure vessel assemblies for bioprocess equipment. You will design using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, generate 3D models and detailed drawings, and manage related BOMs and documentation.

You will work with project engineering teams to ensure compliance with ASME/BPE standards and support manufacturing with released designs. Domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in CAD & drafting or equivalent.
• Postgraduate training in drafting/design is preferred.
• Proficiency with 3D parametric CAD tools and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-based office environment to meet date-driven commitments.
• Review customer specifications and requirements.
• Create/maintain design documents with project engineering support.
• Create/maintain component BOM documentation with project support.
• Produce drawings including 3D models, detail drawings, and BOMs.
• Maintain project files and support manufacturing with released designs.
• Generate as-built design documentation for Quality.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
