Cpl is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation supplying biopharmaceutical equipment. The Mechanical Designer will join a growing design team and focus on pressure vessel assemblies, fluid and gas systems, and motorised agitation using Inventor and AutoCAD.

You will work with Project Engineering, Manufacturing and Customers, produce 3D models and BOMs, review specifications, and contribute to ECNs while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification in CAD/Drafting or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of postgraduate drafting and design experience.
• Experience with 3D parametric CAD software.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards, design fundamentals and fabrication processes.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings and assembly documentation.
• Review customer specifications and translate into manufacturing-ready designs.
• Create and maintain 3D models, BOMs and piping drawings using P&IDs and specs.
• Collaborate with Project Engineering, Manufacturing and customers to meet deadlines.
