Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing Ireland is seeking a Team Leader for the MDV team in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. You will direct all team activities, oversee rosters, training and documentation, and ensure the laboratory operates at maximum efficiency while meeting customer timelines.

You will liaise with the Section Manager to secure resources, manage LIMS reporting, and authorise customer reports. A strong GMP biologics background and leadership seniority are essential.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in biotechnology or bioanalytical field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a GMP biologics laboratory.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory or team leadership experience desirable.
• Proven ability to coordinate, schedule, and prioritise analytical work.
• Demonstrated leadership and commitment to quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Direct all team members, including rosters, productivity, training, safety, and documentation to maximise lab efficiency.
• Liaise with Section Manager to ensure resources meet testing timelines.
• Manage online reporting on LIMS and prepare customer reports for timely sign‑off.
• Conduct analysis as required to meet customer deadlines.
• Review test methods for quotation and ensure regulatory compliance.
