Job summary

Harmonics Recruitment seeks a Project Engineer Consultant for a major CAPEX project in the biopharma sector. You will drive delivery of new process systems, ensuring design, installation and commissioning meet stringent regulatory and operational standards.

Key duties include writing URS, reviewing BOD/PDs, managing BOMs, tracking HAZOP actions, leading FAT/SAT, and creating PM tasks in CMMS. DeltaV experience is desirable; 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Generates URS for assigned systems
• Reviews Basis of Design (BOD) and P&IDs
• Ensures BOM, datasheets and cutsheets meet specs
• Tracks HAZOP actions and incorporates into design
• Participates in 30%, 60% and 90% model reviews
• Reviews lifecycle docs (FS, SDS, IO lists) for compliance
• May attend FAT and leads SAT/commissioning
• Develops FAT/SAT/commissioning protocols
• Ensures Vendor Document Requirements (VDR) are met
• Creates PM tasks and spare parts in CMMS

Responsibilities

• Generate URS for assigned systems.

• Ensure procurement packages meet equipment specs.
• Track HAZOP items and integrate into design.
• Attend key design reviews and ensure safety/ergonomics.
• Approve system lifecycle docs.
• Attend FAT when required; supervise SAT/commissioning.
• Create commissioning protocols and PM tasks.
• Ensure VDR compliance.
• Maintain CMMS spare parts lists.
