Job summary

UPMC Ireland's Sports Surgery Clinic is seeking a dedicated researcher/technician to support biomechanics data collection and motion analysis within the Sports Medicine department. This full-time role is based at SSC Sports Medicine and focuses on clinical service delivery and research activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sports science or related field.
• Experience with biomechanical data capture and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to manage time and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee data collection with integrity and documentation.
• Process biomechanical data in preparation for analysis.
• Ensure high quality of care for patients tested in the lab.
• Conduct regular system checks on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with basic research tasks and collaborate on projects.
• Support training of Erasmus students and staff.
• Review procedures to identify service improvements.
