Sanofi Waterford, Ireland, offers a Biologics Operations Intern position within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will gain hands-on experience in monoclonal antibody production and support continuous improvement activities in a regulated environment.

The role requires currently studying Biotechnology, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, or related fields with GMP knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and attention to detail.

As a Biologics Operations Intern, you will join the Operations team at Sanofi's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Waterford. This internship offers hands-on experience in the production of monoclonal antibody medicines, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence activities, and the delivery of essential medicines to patients worldwide.

Main responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing activities and gain exposure to sterile processing operations, including formulation and filling processes.
• Learn and apply cleanroom procedures, contamination control practices, and environmental monitoring requirements.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to help optimize manufacturing performance.
• Support projects focused on operational efficiency and cost improvement.
• Collect, analyze, and present manufacturing data and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with teams across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement projects.

About you

To excel in this role you will need:

• To be currently pursuing a degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
