Job summary

Merck in Dunboyne, Ireland seeks a Launch Readiness Lead (AD Ops) for biologics manufacturing to oversee all aspects of new product introduction and launch readiness at the multi-product facility.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive capital projects, manage timelines, costs, quality and safety, and report to Site Lead with dotted line to Global Biologics Network Launch Readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline related to pharmaceutical process development or manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in cross-functional environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Robust financial acumen and experience with capital projects.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing and process validation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive site and above-site activities to deliver launch milestones.
• Define and deliver capital projects with cost, quality, and safety targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (analytical sciences, finance, process engineering, tech transfer, regulatory filing, etc.).
• Communicate with global and local stakeholders and transfer core teams.
• Represent launch readiness in leadership councils and governance meetings.
• Apply best practices for launch readiness and manage holistic schedules.
