Job summary

MSD Ireland in Dunboyne, Co. Meath, seeks a Launch Excellence Leader to drive cross-functional NPI and RU Readiness improvements across global and site stakeholders.

The role leads multiple workstreams, translating learnings into sustainable practices while balancing quality, safety, cost, and timing. The Dunboyne facility supports biologics Drug Substance manufacturing for Clinical Supply and Commercial Launch.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pharma/biologics manufacturing.
• 4+ years of leadership in cross-functional manufacturing or launch.
• Bachelor’s degree required; technical discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sustained improvements to KPIs for NPI and RU Readiness.
• Drive alignment with global/local stakeholders to develop holistic improvements.
• Lead cross-functional Launch Excellence sub-teams on priority initiatives.
• Apply MPS problem-solving tools (A3, PDCA, Kaizen) to resolve issues.
• Translate lessons into actionable improvements and best practices.
• Incorporate concepts into procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Launch Project Scheduling to update standard schedule blocks.
• Represent Launch Excellence in governance meetings and escalation sessions.
