Eurofins is seeking a Biochemistry Shift Lead Analyst to support the Analytical Development group at the client site in Ringaskiddy, Ireland. The role requires leading the B shift on weekends, performing analytical tests (cSDS, HPLC, cIEF) to GMP standards, and ensuring timely, well-documented results.

You will lead a high-performing laboratory team, uphold quality and safety, and act as a primary client contact to ensure reliable service and continuous improvement.

Formación

• A degree or diploma in chemistry or a related subject.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory.
• Experience in a leadership capacity.
• Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.
• Passionate about quality and client service.
• Good communication skills both internally and externally.

Responsabilidades

• Act as site leader for the B shift on the weekends.
• Managing QBAS as lead checker and scheduler
• Perform analytical and/or biochemical tests such as cSDS, HPLC or cIEF according to international pharmacopeial, regulatory and corporate standards in a timely and organized manner.
• Lead and coordinate a high-performing laboratory team, driving productivity, quality, safety, and customer service excellence.
• Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring service delivery consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
• Support the development, coaching, and performance of team members through training, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Manage laboratory scheduling, resource planning, and cross-training activities to maximise efficiency and achieve service level agreements.
• Review, approve, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, data, SOPs, and reports in line with GMP and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, using performance metrics and technical expertise to enhance processes, quality, and operational effectiveness.

Hours: Shift only position, working 78 hours over 2 weeks.

The purpose of this job is to serve as the Biochemistry Shift Lead Analyst for the Analytical Development group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
