Job summary

PE Global has partnered with a dedicated data centre delivery partner to recruit a BIM Lead for a project in North Dublin. The role is fully site-based with no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance offered.

You will lead BIM delivery, coordinate with the site team and client, manage BIM Coordinators and Technicians, and ensure adherence to BIM procedures across disciplines on multiple turnkey data centre projects in Europe.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience working on multiple large projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field.
• Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
• Engage with site team, subcontractors, and client to ensure BIM procedures are followed.
• Manage the team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to deliver BIM requirements.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.
• Provide support to junior BIM team members and site team.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives related to BIM technologies and processes.
• Produce drawings, specifications and schedules per BIM Execution plan.

PE Global have partnered with our very good client who are a dedicated data centre delivery partner, and we are delighted to announce we are currently recruiting for a BIM Lead to join their rapidly expanding team in Dublin.

Our client is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. They specialise in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 9 different European countries, equating to over 311MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce we are currently recruiting for a BIM Lead to join our team at our project in North Dublin. This role will be fully site-based.

Please note, there is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance on offer. Candidates must have a valid EU/UK Passport, or the appropriate working visa.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
• Engage with the WTL site team, subcontractors, and client to ensure the standard WTL BIM procedures are being followed.
• Manage the team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to deliver on BIM requirements.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.
• Provide support to junior BIM team members and site team.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives related to BIM technologies and new processes.
• Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
• Production of drawings, specifications, and schedules, according to the project BIM Execution plan.

Requirements
