Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dublin is seeking a BIM Team Lead to ensure effective BIM delivery on large construction projects. This site-based role requires managing a team of BIM Coordinators and liaising with subcontractors. Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in large projects, strong knowledge of Revit and MEP coordination, and excellent communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience working on multiple large projects.
• Previous Revit experience – MEP bias required.
• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
• Engage with site teams and subcontractors to ensure BIM standards are followed.
• Manage BIM Coordinators and Technicians to meet BIM requirements.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers on MEP installations.
• Support junior BIM team members and site teams.
• Contribute to research and development on BIM technologies.
• Manage clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
• Produce drawings, specifications, and schedules per the project BIM Execution plan.

We are pleased to announce we are currently recruiting for two BIM Team Lead roles to join our team at our project in North Dublin. This role will be fully site-based.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
• Engage with the WTL site team, subcontractors, and client to ensure the standard WTL BIM procedures are being followed.
• Manage the team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to deliver on BIM requirements.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.
• Provide support to junior BIM team members and site team.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives related to BIM technologies and new processes.
• Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
• Production of drawings, specifications, and schedules, according to the project BIM Execution plan.

Qualifications

• Previous Revit experience – MEP bias required
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Navisworks experience desired
• 8+ years’ experience working on multiple large projects
• Relevant Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar
• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
