Job summary

Elusav Recruitment is seeking a BIM Quality Engineer in Leixlip, Kildare to lead QA review of 3D models for compliance with project specs, BEP/LOD, and site practicality. The role involves coordinating with BIM Lead and designers, logging QA issues, and tracking them through resolution.

The candidate will verify space, naming conventions, and documentation alignment, while maintaining QA dashboards and metrics for leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience checking 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings against specs.
• Strong attention to detail and constructability risk awareness.
• Understanding of BIM standards and execution plans.
• Experience with BIM coordination tools and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own BIM QA review of 3D modelling for compliance with project specs, standards and BEP/LOD.
• Check coordinated models for piping, ductwork, electrical, instrumentation and supports.
• Verify space management and maintainability requirements.
• Log issues in BIM QA portal with project code and correct type.
• Track issues to resolution, coordinating with designers and detailers.
• Escalate unresolved issues at weekly BIM QA review.
• Participate in model versus scan reviews for as-built accuracy.
• Review clash reports and ensure clashes resolved prior to fabrication.
• Maintain the BIM QA/QC dashboard and metrics.
• Provide weekly QA metrics to BIM Manager/Lead.
