Job summary

Techrete UK & Ireland seeks a BIM / 3D Modeller for our Balbriggan facility to support precast cladding projects. The role requires 5+ years in the construction BIM environment and a strong working knowledge of building regulations and detailing.

You will produce 3D models (Revit/Tekla), generate 2D co-ordination and installation drawings, and liaise with Engineers and external design teams to ensure accurate, buildable designs delivered to schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction BIM modelling (Precast preferred).
• Knowledge of building regulations and construction details.
• Experience with Revit and Tekla workflows.

Responsibilities

• Produce precast concrete elements in a 3D model environment.
• Produce 2D coordination and installation drawings.
• Attend site to confirm drawings/model accuracy.
• Coordinate with engineers and external design teams.
• Manage buildability issues related to the external envelope.
• Ensure high quality and safety standards.
• Prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

We are now recruiting for the position of BIM /3D modeler, to further enhance our offering to Clients. This position will be based at our Balbriggan facility. About The Role

This new role is for an BIM / 3D modeler with 5+ years' experience in the construction industry combined with a good working knowledge of the building regulations and construction details.

Responsibilities:

• Partnering with Engineers and modellers you will produce, within a 3D model environment precast concrete elements and associated items.
• Liaise with external design team members on a regular basis
• Production of 3D model files through Revit/Tekla
• Production of 2D co-ordination and installation drawings
• Attend the site as required to confirm drawings / model accuracy.
• Ensuring that detailed model files are co-ordinated
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Carry out other duties as directed by your manager
• Produce accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports, and General information.
• Support the completion of the associated external facade works in accordance with the Program.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality and safety Standards.
• Manage buildability issues related to the external envelope.

About You

• Relevant Architectural, Engineering or Construction Qualification.
• Minimum 5 Years' Experience (Precast Experience preferred)
• Experience using 3D BIM Environment via workflow
• Strong Detailing / modelling experience
• Technical and Practical Knowledge of The Building Industry
• Advance Knowledge of Ms Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Industry Specific Software
• Excellent Written and Oral Presentation Skill
• Ability to Work on Own Initiative
• Self-starter capable of delivering targets and deadlines

Qualifications / Expertise

• Education: Relevant Qualification in Engineering / Architecture / Construction.
