Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Digital Engineering Lead in Burnfoot to spearhead BIM activities across projects. You will lead coordination, manage BIM coordinators, and develop execution plans ensuring data integrity and timely delivery of BIM deliverables.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external partners while continuously improving BIM workflows and adopting new technologies and standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with construction and design processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Previous knowledge of busbar systems will be an advantage but not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BIM coordination efforts for multiple projects, collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate BIM data.
• Coordinate busbar services within multidisciplinary BIM models to identify clashes and resolve conflicts.
• Manage a team of BIM coordinators, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Develop and implement BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols for consistency and quality.
• Oversee creation, maintenance, and management of BIM models including data integration and clash detection.
• Ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines and objectives.
• Conduct internal reviews to ensure outputs meet team standards for manufacture and delivery.
• Collaborate with technology teams to evaluate and optimize BIM software and workflows.
• Provide training and support on BIM processes and technologies.
• Stay updated with BIM trends and best practices.
