Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is assisting a leading main contractor in Wexford to recruit a Design Coordinator on a permanent basis, with a salary of €45,000 - €60,000 DOE. The role covers high-profile commercial, residential, data centre and pharmaceutical projects across Ireland.

Requirements: 3+ years’ design coordination experience (Ireland or UK), main contractor exposure, Revit and BIM proficiency, and knowledge of Irish building regulations and BCAR.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a design coordination role within construction (Ireland or UK).
• Experience with a main contractor is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM systems.
• Solid knowledge of Irish building regulations and BCAR processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure designs meet health and safety standards and comply with current building regulations.
• Review and coordinate design information from external consultants and subcontractors.
• Work closely with site teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery of design information.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through design efficiencies and value engineering.
• Monitor design progress to ensure deadlines and budget targets are achieved.
