Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a detail-oriented BIM/Digital Engineering Coordinator to lead the modelling and coordination of BIM data across multidisciplinary projects. You will ensure accurate model creation, data integration, and effective communication with project stakeholders to meet design intent and client requirements.

Key responsibilities include clash detection, data extraction for cost/schedule, and developing BIM templates and libraries.

Qualifications

• Hold qualification (or relevant experience) related to BIM software such as Revit, 3D CAD.
• Proven experience (1+ years) in BIM coordination with BIM tools like ACC/Forma.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of BIM principles, ISO19650 standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare 3D BIM models and deliverables with high accuracy per client design intent and Vertiv standards.
• Produce plans, sections, elevations, 3D ISO views, and schedules for coordination and as-built docs.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, contractors and stakeholders to maintain BIM models.
• Coordinate busbar services within BIM models to identify clashes and resolve conflicts.
• Manage BIM workflows to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
• Assist in BIM content libraries, templates, and families for efficient development.
• Generate clash detection reports and support issue resolution with project teams.
• Extract quantities and data from BIM models for cost estimation and scheduling.
• Work with BIM and PMs to align deliverables with timelines and objectives.
• Provide training and support on BIM software and processes; stay updated on trends.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative BIM/Digital Engineering Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for our projects. As a Digital Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate model creation, coordination, data integration, and effective communication among project stakeholders. Your expertise in BIM software, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment will be essential for excelling in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and prepare 3D BIM models and deliverables with a high degree of accuracy that reflect the client's design intent, ensuring alignment with Vertiv standards, client requirements, and the associated BIM processes and documentation.
• Create plans, sections, elevations, 3D ISO views, and schedules for coordination, installation, and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain BIM models that accurately represent project designs and data.
• Coordinate busbar services within multidisciplinary BIM models to identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies, and potential conflicts in design and construction.
• Manage BIM workflows and processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to established BIM standards and protocols.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of BIM content libraries, templates, and families for efficient model development.
• Generate clash detection reports and work with project teams to facilitate issue resolution and coordination efforts.
• Extract accurate quantities and data from BIM models for cost estimation, scheduling, and other project-related purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold qualification (or relevant experience) related to the post in Revit, 3D CAD, or an equivalent.
• Proven experience (1+ years) in BIM coordination and working with BIM software tools like ACC/Forma.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards, and protocols i.e ISO19650
• Previous knowledge of busbar systems will be an advantage but not a requirement, as specific training on our products and BIM libraries will be provided as part of the role.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with construction and design processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with clash detection and resolution processes.
• Knowledge of quantity extraction and data management from BIM models.
