Qualifications

• Experience delivering data integration projects using Big Data technologies.
• Proven ability to manage engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Data Warehousing and Databricks ecosystem (EMR, S3, Glue, Lambda, Airflow).
• Proficiency with Spark engineering for scalable data pipelines (PySpark/Scala).
• Experience building streaming applications with Kafka.
• Strong CI/CD foundation (Jenkins, Git, YAML, Maven) for cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of Big Data querying tools (Athena, RDS, Databricks).
• Experience integrating data from Parquet/ORC/Avro and table formats (Delta Lake, Iceberg).
• Familiarity with Java open-source tools, APIs (Swagger), and testing (JUnit).
• Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools (GitHub Copilot).
• Technical expertise in scalable distributed systems; data warehousing, data modeling, data lake, and data security concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage data integration and analysis across diverse systems.
• Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet client requirements.
• Implement processes to extract, transform, and distribute data from various sources.
• Provide expertise in problem-solving and complex data analysis for BI integration.
